Ökoinstitut Südtirol/Alto Adige Genossenschaft is a private institute involved in the implementation of local and international projects promoting sustainable development. Since 1989 it seeks to build a bridge between the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainability by implementing concrete projects, organizing cultural initiatives and raising awareness about sustainable mobility, energy and climate change, environmental education and sustainable lifestyles. It collaborates with both public entities and private actors. Consultancy and raising awareness are its major activities.    
Funded in a multicultural region in-between two different cultures, Ökoinstitut has access to the most advanced know-how in the social-environmental field.

Free University of Bozen-Bolzano

In between the Italian and German cultures, the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano has made trilingualism a key point of its teaching and research activities. Unibz has five faculties with a high percentage of international teachers (35%) and students (17%) who study, teach and carry on research in the fields of economics, natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, education, design and arts.

Consorzio di Promozione Turistica del Tarvisiano, di Sella Nevea e del Passo Pramollo

The Consorzio di Promozione Turistica del Tarvisiano, di Sella Nevea e del Passo Pramollo is an organization with competencies in the promotion, development, planning of tourism products and their marketing in the north-east of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, a mountain area on the Italian border with Carinthia and Slovenia. The Consortium provides hotel accommodation and tourist services, it prepares holiday packages for individuals and groups and organizes musical, cultural, food and wine events. Its proposals are thought for private individuals, tour operators and travel agencies, cultural associations, religious bodies or companies.

Regionalverband Pongau

The Regionalverband Pongau is a regional development organization on behalf of the 25 municipalities of the Pongau District, founded in 2005 as a regional service organisation. The competence or expertise of the RV Pongau ranges from networking with relevant regional partners (e. g. agriculture, tourism, enterprises, municipalities, communities, NGO’s) in the scope of project development, funding-management and implementation of regional projects as Leader, Interreg or Alpine Space to the field of regional development and regional spatial planning as well as public traffic planning and regional mobility management (with an own mobility management centre called “mobilito”). A current project is dealing with the effects of climate change in the region over the next two years. Among other things, the focus is on the opportunities and challenges for regional tourism with over 10 million guest overnight stays in the 25 communities.
